I feel like I breezed through high school pretty well with no major skin problems. I can’t recall experiencing humiliating acne and I never had to take medication to calm my skin down like some of my friends had to. It wasn’t until after I graduated and for the better part of my 20s that I started to experience skin problems. Off the top of my head, the only thing I can really credit this to is probably my diet and lifestyle. Super late nights, not enough face washing before bed, too many sugary cocktail drinks, and not enough water. Disaster.
The first Philosophy product I ever purchased was the Microdelivery Exfoliating Face Wash. I was in the market for an exfoliator that wasn’t too gritty or drying to the skin. That was probably 8-10 years ago and I have never purchased another exfoliator since. It is by far the best one I have ever used. The consistency is more like a gel and the exfoliator beads feel like really fine grains of sand – it’s amazing. It’s so gentle that it can be used every day if necessary. One by one, I started researching more Philosophy products and eventually tried and loved the cleansers, body washes, eye creams, moisturizers, and even perfume (the Amazing Grace is divine).
Along with cutting nearly all sugar from my diet and drinking half of my body weight in water – I now exclusively use Philosophy skin products. Typically I cleanse with the Purity cleanser, exfoliate with the Microdelivery Face Wash, and moisturize with Take a Deep Breath. Once a week, I started using the Microdelivery Peel, which is a two step resurfacing process, and I have never felt more confident about my skin.
I am now officially ‘Philosophy For Life’.
I’ve only tried a few of philosophy’s products, but I loved them!
