Paris is a wonderland of inspiration, architecture, imagination, and nostalgia. It is every bit of a fantasy as one can make it to be. I’ve heard many times before that Paris is “a tourist trap”, “overrated”, “crowded and a headache” but I could not disagree more. I spend my days dreaming about the remarkable architecture and my nights fantasizing of the festive and lively streets all hours of the night. My second, and longest, stop on my solo adventure to Europe was Paris and I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect city to refresh and regroup.
I stayed in an AirBnb in the Monmartre neighborhood and I will so often reminisce about the bustling cobblestone streets, the pastel colored buildings, the bubbly glasses of champagne on sidewalk cafes, and the stunning sunset after a Paris downpour. When I would dream of the typical Paris – it was Montmartre summed up into one perfectly situated neighborhood. It is vividly romantic and sweetly classic.
I’ve listed a few of my absolute favorite stops that I will make sure not to miss when I go back. Because you better believe I’ll be going back.
CAFE KITSUNE – the best views of the Royal Palais gardens and the yummiest coffee
TARTEMPION – oh, that creme brulee though!
LE VRAI PARIS – the freshly squeezed orange juice and the french onion soup
LA MAISON ROSE – those photo ops!
PALACE OF VERSAILLES – the magical architecture
PALAIS ROYAL – the stunning rose gardens
